Emotional Intelligence – the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one’s emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.
How do you emotionally connect and interact with others? How about your children?
Join our Mindful Family Series workshop and learn about emotional intelligence, identify your emotions, how they affect us and the way we communicate with others. Specifically, for children understanding emotions and how they relate to the five senses.
It’s the perfect treat for parents and children to gain the tools to engage, support and emotionally communicate with each other!
Together we will bridge the communication between parent and child by discovering the types of language to spark ideas to open up conversations at home.
This workshop is filled with games and movement activities to get your bodies moving and grooving with the family. Including family stretching and meditation.
Parent focused activities will boost your emotional intelligence relating to parenting, while child focused activities will teach self-awareness and communication with their parents.
This is an opportunity for both parent and child to engage in these topics in a fun, mindful and play base atmosphere.
You’ll leave this workshop feeling more connected with your child and have gained a diverse language of emotions and how to talk about it with one another.
Come with an open mind in comfortable active wear. We will provide water, tea, light snacks and a ton of fun and love for the family! 💓👪
